Five Sailors Earn ICSA All-American Honors

NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- Five members of the Yale coed and women's sailing teams have been named Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association (ICSA) All-Americans, as announced by the organization on Monday evening.

The Bulldogs had a fantastic season on the water, finishing in the top three in three national championship events this spring.

Senior Julia Miller earned All-American honors for the second straight season as a women's and open crew. Miller was also named a finalist for Crew of the Year. She capped off a phenomenal final season in which she was named Ivy League Crew of the Championship in April.

Dorothy Mendelblatt was a standout for the Bulldogs in her sophomore campaign. In addition to winning Ivy League Skipper of the Championship earlier in the season, Mendelblatt was named a Women's All-American Skipper and received an honorable mention nod as an open skipper.

First-year Carly Kieding earned All-American honors as a women's skipper alongside Mendelblatt. Sophomore Annabel Woodworth and junior Morgan Pinckney received All-American Honorable Mention accolades for crew and open skipper, respectively.
