HENLEY-ON-THAMES, England – Following the conclusion of the 2025-26 season, Yale heavyweight crew has entered to race in the Henley Royal Regatta on the River Thames in England. This will be the first time the Bulldogs get to race across the pond since 2022, where the 8+ boat reached the semifinal before falling to Leander Club.
Racing for the Temple Challenge Cup, the 8+ boat entry will begin its journey on Wednesday, July 1, against the Oxford Brookes University 'B' boat. The event features a 32-boat, single-elimination bracket, where each entry races head-to-head on a 2,112-meter course.

The 2026 Henley Royal Regatta sees a record-breaking 862 entries from 21 nations, including fellow Ivy League crews Harvard, Dartmouth and Brown.
