Bulldogs Lose Tight Match on Senior Day

In front of a large crowd at the Yale Fencing Salon, the Bulldogs lost 13-14 against Sacred Heart. This match was the only home one for Yale this season, and the last time seniors Sam Broughton, captain Hugh O'Cinneide and Jacob Rosenberg-Wohl will compete in their home salon.

The match came down to the last point in the last bout. With the overall results tied at 13-13 and the bout tied at 4-4, the Pioneers' fencer managed was able to score the fifth point and secure the win for Sacred Heart.

The Elis next competition will be at Columbia for the Ivy League Round-Robins on February 8.
