NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale Men's Hockey Team is back in conference play for three straight home games before taking a break for exams and the holiday. This weekend, the Bulldogs get a visit from Dartmouth and No. 17 Harvard with a pair of 7 p.m. games airing living on ESPN+ and internationally on Stretch Internet. The Big Green are at the Whale Friday, while the Crimson come in Saturday, which includes the Toys for Tots, Teddy Bear Toss.

SERIES
Against Dartmouth, the Bulldogs lead the series 114-97-14 and are 18-10-2 in the last 30 meetings. There have been 263 Yale-Harvard meetings in eight different cities. The first took place on Feb. 26, 1900, in New York, with Yale prevailing 5-4. The Crimson lead the all-time series 148-92-23.

BULLDOGS
Yale, coming off its first win of the season last Wednesday against Vermont at home, seeks its initial ECAC win on Friday against Dartmouth. Four Bulldogs found the net and 11 total players had points against the Cats, including
Niklas Allain, who leads the Blue with two goals and five points.
Nathan Reid earned the victory in net by making 23 saves and stopping four of five power plays.

BIG GREEN
Dartmouth, under new head coach Reid Cashman, the 2007 Quinnipiac graduate, is 2-6-0 overall and 2-3-0 in conference play. They are coming off 7-4 and 3-2 losses to Providence and Vermont, respectively, last weekend. Forward Mark Gallant leads the squad with six goals and seven points, while Justin Ferguson (4.80, .846) has six of the eight decisions in net.

CRIMSON
Harvard, which brings a 5-3-1 (4-1-1 ECAC) record into Friday's game at Brown, lost 1-0 at home to UNH on Saturday. The Cantabs, who had their Tuesday night game at BC postponed, are 10th among Division I treams in scoring offense with 3.67 per game.
Sean Farrell has five goals and a dozen points to lead the offense, while Mitchell Gibson (2.41, .897) owns seven of the nine decisions between the pipes.

TEDDY BEAR TOSS
Yale and the U.S. Marine Corps have their annual Toys for Tots Holiday Collection with a Teddy Bear Toss during the second intermission of Saturday's game. Fans are encouraged to bring a stuffed toy to the game and throw it on the ice during the second intermission. Yale students and Yale ROTC staff will pick up the stuffed animals.
