2022 YALE MEN'S LACROSSE SCHEDULE
NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Yale University men's lacrosse head coach
Andy Shay has announced the 2022 schedule which begins with three early-February scrimmages before the Elis' season opener at home vs. Villanova on Saturday, February 19 at noon.
Yale, which was ranked eighth in the Nike/USA Lacrosse Division I Preseason Top-20 poll, will face six teams also garnering national attention. The Bulldogs will take on No. 9 Penn, No. 12 Denver, No. 18 Cornell, RV Penn State, RV Princeton and RV Villanova.
The Bulldogs will hold scrimmages on Saturday, February 5, against Fairfield and Hobart before a final tune-up against RIT on Saturday, February 12.
Yale opens the regular season against Villanova for the fifth-consecutive season. The Elis begin the year with four nonconference games.
The Bulldogs travel to Penn State on Saturday, February 26, before coming back to New Haven to host UMass on Saturday, March 5, and then a final non-league road game at Denver on Sunday, March 13.
Ivy League play begins on the road at Cornell on Saturday, March 19, which starts a three-game conference stretch. The Bulldogs then host Princeton on Saturday, March 26 and Penn on Saturday, April 2.
The Elis then have a quick turnaround with a road game on Tuesday, April 5 against Boston University which starts a three-game away swing.
It's then back-to-back road Ivy games as the Bulldogs travel to Dartmouth on Saturday, April 9, before heading to Brown on Saturday, April 16.
Yale hosts two final nonconference foes on Sunday, April 24 and Tuesday, April 26 as UAlbany and Quinnipiac come to Reese Stadium.
The 2022 regular season concludes on Saturday, April 30 with Harvard in New Haven.
All home games at Reese Stadium and Ivy League contests are streamed live on ESPN+.
