COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Yale gymnastics team placed third against tough competition in the Maryland Quad Meet Sunday with a score of 191.575. The Bulldogs finished behind Maryland (197.100) and NC State (196.925) and ahead of William & Mary (190.025).
Lindsay Chia (38.675) placed second in the All-Around.

The team started the meet on bars (47.250), where three members of the team suffered falls. Bouncing back, Chia (9.775),
Kendal Toy (9.775) and
Raegan Walker (9.875) pulled off solid routines with Walker tying for second.

The Bulldogs continued on to the balance beam (47.650), where the highest scores of the rotation within the team went to Walker (9.875) and
Riley Meeks (9.750). Walker had the third-highest score on the apparatus in the competition but placed sixth due to tie-breaker rules.

The team then went on to floor, scoring a 48.225. Chia (9.825), Toy (9.750) and
Emma Mangiacapre (9.750) had the highest scores within the team. Chia had the fifth-highest score in the rotation.

Yale finished strong on vault (48.450), where Chia (9.850) had the third-highest score in the rotation.
Oren Aviad and
Aimee Titche had the next highest scores within the team after scoring a 9.725.
