NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale gymnastics team had 18 gymnasts earn Gymnastics East Conference Scholar Athlete recognition for 2026. The conference announced the awards on Wednesday.
In order to be honored as a Scholar Athlete, a gymnast must maintain a GPA of 3.2 or above throughout the fall year semester. First years are eligible with Fall 2025 semester grades only.
The Bulldogs achieved the impressive feat of having every athlete earn the honor.

This is the fifth season for the Gymnastics East Conference, which features eight of the top gymnastics programs on the East Coast: Bridgeport, Brown, Cornell, Penn, Southern Connecticut, West Chester, William & Mary and Yale.
Yale will compete at the GEC Championships, hosted by Cornell, this Saturday. Yale competes in the second session (5:00 p.m.).
