NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- For the sixth time, Annie Bilbe has been named Gymnastics East Conference Newcomer of the Week, as announced by the conference on Wednesday afternoon. Bilbe has won the award in six out of the 11 weeks this season.

Bilbe continued her impressive rookie campaign with another strong showing for Yale, tying for second on vault with a 9.775 and earning second place on floor with a 9.900. Competing with confidence and consistency, she has become a reliable contributor in the Bulldogs' lineup.

The Bulldogs will compete at the GEC Championships, hosted by Cornell, on Saturday, March 21 at 5 p.m.
