NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale men's lacrosse team began the week with an impressive 17-14 victory over Boston University on Tuesday afternoon. The Bulldogs will look to complete a perfect week when Dartmouth visits Reese Stadium on Saturday. The opening face off is slated for 1 p.m.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

* The Bulldogs (4-4, 0-3 Ivy) have two of their final three Ivy games at Reese starting Saturday against the Big Green. Yale hosts Brown on Apr. 15 and then wraps up the regular season at Harvard on Apr. 29. In between Brown and Harvard is a trip to Albany for a non-league game on Apr. 21. Cornell (3-0) is the only team unbeaten in Ivy play so the field for the four-team Ivy League Tournament very much remains to be determined.

*  Yale has scored 33 goals in its last two games. Leo Johnson has led the way with eight goals as he scored four against both Penn and Boston University. Matt Brandau contributed three goals in both games and added three assists in Tuesday's win over the Terriers.

* Chris Lyons leads the Bulldogs with 29 goals, which is third in the Ivy League. Lyons is seventh in the nation in goals per game (3.62).

* Goalie Jared Paquette made 13 saves in Tuesday's victory over BU. He leads the league and is third nationally in saves per game (14.38).

* Brandau, who has at least one point in all 48 games he has played at Yale, is 16th nationally in assists per game (2.12).

*  The Bulldogs are second in the league in scoring offense at 14.12 goals per game, which is 14th nationally.

*  Yale outscored BU 7-1 in the second quarter on Tuesday. Over the last two games, the Bulldogs have outscored their opponents 14-4 in the second, and on the season, Yale has a 39-25 advantage in second quarter goals scored.

*  Last year in Hanover, the Bulldogs got hat tricks from Brandau and Thomas Bragg in a 23-6 victory. Sixteen different Bulldogs scored in the game.

*  Yale has won the last 11 meetings with the Big Green and leads the all-time series 54-34.

SCOUTING DARTMOUTH

The Big Green (6-2, 1-1 Ivy) is seeking its seventh win of the season, which would be the most for Dartmouth since 2008. The Big Green is coming off a 22-11 loss at Cornell last Saturday. Dartmouth has played six of its eight games away from home. The March 25 overtime win over Harvard was the first Ivy win for the Big Green since 2015. Colin McGill leads the team in goals (22), assists (13) and points (35). Quinn Moore has 16 goals. Sam Cooper has seen a majority of the action in goal and has an 11.93 goals against average. Following Saturday's game, the Big Green closes out Ivy play against Princeton (Apr. 15), Penn (Apr. 22) and Brown (Apr. 29).
