NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale Golf Course was named one of the Top 10 Connecticut Courses You Can Play by Links Magazine.

The historic greens became public in 2022 after years of being open only to members of the Yale University community and its members. In April, the course was named a Top-10 Co-Designed Course in the United States and was co-designed in 1926 by C.B. Macdonald and Seth Raynor. The team of general manager Peter Palacios, Jr., superintendent Jeffrey Austin, and a talented grounds staff oversee and maintain the beautifully kept course throughout the year.
 
The Yale Golf Course, which was ranked No. 83 in the world by Golf Magazine in the fall of 2019, is consistently recognized as the finest collegiate course in the nation.
 
It has been the site of every significant state championship, two USGA Junior National events, and NCAA Regionals in 1991, 1995, 2004, 2010, 2015, and 2022. The course has also been the home of the Nike Connecticut Open. In 2022, it was the site of the NCAA Men's Golf Regional and was also named one of the best "classic" courses by Golfweek. Yale's course ranked No. 60 on the list of 200 best layouts built before 1960.
