CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The Yale women's sailing team sailed to an undefeated record to win the Duplin Trophy over the weekend at host school, Harvard. The Bulldogs topped the 10-team field, while weathering difficult conditions. The coed sailing team registered a runner-up finish at the Jan Friis Team Race.

The Bulldogs went a perfect 12-0 at the Duplin Trophy on the Charles River. On Saturday, the Elis dealt with extreme weather conditions to best each of their nine opponents. On the second day of the regatta, the Bulldogs topped Boston College, Harvard, and MIT to complete an undefeated weekend.

Boston College finished second at the event, followed by Harvard, MIT, and Tulane.
Jan Friis Team Race | Bristol, R.I.
The Yale coed team finished second at the 63rd Jan Friis Team Race hosted by Roger Williams. The Bulldogs ended the even with a 7-1 record, falling only to the host school. The regatta only was held on Saturday, as the second day of the event was canceled due to weather conditions.
