NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Yale Athletics has announced the hiring of Trey Hall as an assistant strength and conditioning coach.
Hall re-joins the Bulldogs from the University of Maine where he served as the head football sports performance coach since February 2022. He worked with the Yale Football program in 2021 as an assistant strength coach.
Prior to his time at Yale, Hall served as a strength and conditioning assistant at Delaware State University where he worked primarily with women's soccer, women's tennis, women's golf, and women's equestrian while assisting with the men's and women's basketball programs and the football team.
A native of Baltimore, Md., he attended Edinboro University, where he played four years of football and graduated in 2019 with a degree in sport and exercise science with a concentration in human performance. While interning with the Fighting Scots, Hall had the opportunity to work with former Pittsburgh Steelers and Miami Dolphins strength and conditioning coach, Ryan Grove. From there, he pursued a Master's of Applied Exercise Science at Gannon University, where he specialized in strength and conditioning and completed a graduate assistant position with several varsity teams at Gannon.
Hall is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association with his CSCS as well as his CPR and AED through the American Heart Association.
