NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Yale Athletics has named Frank Grimaldi as its new Assistant Athletic Director for Ticketing Operations.
In his role, Grimaldi will oversee all ticketing operations for football, men's and women's basketball, men's ice hockey, and men's lacrosse. He will provide leadership and strategic oversight of ticket sales operations, customer service, and ticketing systems to enhance the fan experience and support Yale Athletics' revenue and engagement goals.

Grimaldi comes to Yale after spending nine years with the Springfield Thunderbirds of the American Hockey League. He joined the organization in 2016 as an account executive, where he was responsible for selling full season ticket packages, mini plans, and group outings. In 2018, he transitioned into ticket operations, steadily advancing within the department and ultimately serving as Director of Ticket Operations. In that role, Grimaldi managed all aspects of ticketing operations, including system administration, pricing strategies, reporting, and game-day execution.
A graduate of Western New England University, Grimaldi earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Sport Management in 2016. He went on to complete a Master of Science in Sport Leadership and Coaching in 2018.
