Here is a breakdown of the schedule:
- Yale opens the season Mar. 21-22 at UCF's Black and Gold Invitational. The Bulldogs also competed at this unscored meet last year, when UCF welcomed 31 other teams from around the nation.
- The Bulldogs have a pair of meets on the weekend of Mar. 27, starting with the Raleigh Relays Mar. 27-29. Yale had multiple distance and middle-distance competitors at the Raleigh Relays last year. That weekend also includes Bryant's Black and Gold Invitational on Mar. 28 and Mar. 29. The Bulldogs did not compete at the Black and Gold meet last year, when Bryant finished first in both the men's and the women's meets.
- The Bulldogs have two meets on Apr. 5, with the squad splitting up between the UConn Dog Fight in nearby Storrs, Conn., and Princeton's Sam Howell Invitational. At last year's Dog Fight, the men finished fifth (out of 10 teams) and the women finished sixth (out of 11 teams). A variety of Bulldog sprinters, jumpers and throwers competed along with multiple relay teams and a handful of middle-distance runners. Yale did not compete at the Sam Howell last year; the meet features middle-distance and distance events.
- Yale hosts the historic Transatlantic Series on Apr. 12, with the Bulldogs joining forces with Harvard to compete against a combined team from Oxford and Cambridge. This event dates back to 1894 and is typically held every other year, with the location rotating among the four schools. Yale last hosted in 2017.
- On Apr. 18 Yale competes at the Wake Forest Invitational, where a year ago the Bulldogs established many PRs and sophomore Juliette Kosmont (Monterey, Calif.) broke the Yale record in the 100m. The next day, the Bulldogs host the annual Mark Young Invitational, named for the legendary former Bulldog student-athlete and coach. At this six-team meet last year the Yale women finished second and the Yale men finished third.
- A select group of Bulldogs will compete at the Penn Relays Apr. 24-26. The oldest and largest track and field competition in the United States, this event dates back to 1895 and attracts thousands of participants and spectators.
- On Apr. 26 Yale will compete at UMass' Ken O'Brien Pre-Conference Meet. This meet includes a dozen schools from the Northeast, including Yale's Ivy League rivals Brown and Dartmouth.
- Yale hosts the Ivy League Heptagonal Outdoor Track and Field Championships May 10-11. All eight schools will have their men's and women's teams competing for Ivy League individual and team titles this weekend.
- Bulldogs who qualify for the NCAA East First Round will compete in that meet May 28-31 in Jacksonville, Fla. Last year Yale had five men (Matt Appel '24, junior Brian Di Bassinga (Haymarket, Va.), junior Owen Karas (Columbus, Ohio), sophomore Isiah Udofia (Montclair, N.J.) and Chris Ward '24) and two women (sophomore Victoria Guerrier (West Hempstead, N.Y.) and Kyra Pretre '24) compete in the first round.
- Bulldogs who qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships will compete in that meet June 11-14 in Eugene, Ore.
