Coming off a defeat to No. 4 Cornell, Yale men's lacrosse aims to get back in the win column with a matchup against Brown at Reese Stadium on Saturday, Mar. 29.
 
Last Time Out

• The Bulldogs battled, but fell to the Big Red, 19-14, last Saturday at Reese Stadium. After Yale narrowed the gap to just one goal in the second quarter, Cornell responded with three consecutive goals and solidified its victory with seven more in the second half.
• Chris Lyons had a strong performance, tallying a team-high five goals.
• David Anderson picked up his first hat trick of the season.
• CJ Kirst, who ranks first in the nation in goals per game, paced the Cornell offense with a game-high nine goals and an assist.

• The Bulldogs were picked to finish third in the Ivy League Preseason Poll on Feb. 7.

Scouting Brown

• The Bears enter the weekend with a 3-5 overall record, 0-1 in Ivy action.
• Brown is coming off an 8-7 victory over 16^th-ranked UMass.  
• In the win, the Bears tallied the game's final three goals, including Jeremy Hopsicker's game-winner with eight seconds remaining.
• Junior midfielder Marcus Wertheim paces the Brown offense with 14 goals, nine assists, and 23 points.
