- Chris Lyons recorded his 100th career goal, but the Bulldogs fell to No. 9 Penn State, 15-9, at Reese Stadium.
- Penn State jumped out to an early lead with three unanswered goals in the first quarter. Cole Cashion got Yale on the board at the 6:11 mark, but the Nittany Lions responded with three more goals to take a 6-1 lead. The Bulldogs outscored Penn State 2-1 in the final two minutes of the frame, but the visitors held a 7-3 advantage after one.
- Penn State narrowly outshot Yale 15-13 and held the scoring edge 4-1, extending its lead to 11-4 at halftime.
- The Nittany Lions maintained their seven-goal lead after the third quarter, and their dominant start proved to be the difference as they secured the six-goal victory.

- Denver enters the weekend with a 4-2 record.
- The Pioneers are coming off a 14-7 victory over Quinnipiac on Sunday.
- In the victory, Denver had nine different goal scorers for its first nine goals. It marked the second straight game the Pioneers have held their opponent to single digits.
- Mic Kelly leads the team with 13 goals.Â
