PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Yale heavyweight crew team raced against Penn and Columbia in the Blackwell Cup on the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia.

Race Results

• In the first varsity race, Penn took the win with a time of 6:07.7. Yale finished second in 6:13.0, while Columbia placed third at 6:25.8. With the victory, the Quakers claimed the Blackwell Cup.
• Yale's second varsity boat captured the top spot with a time of 6:06.6, followed by Penn (6:08.5) and Columbia (6:33.0).
• In the third varsity race, the Bulldogs earned the win with a time of 6:15.9, finishing ahead of Penn at 6:19.0.
• Yale's fourth varsity boat was also victorious, posting a time of 6:11.7 to defeat Penn's 4V (6:24.8) and 5V (6:41.9).

Notes

• Yale leads the all-time Blackwell Cup series with 52 victories, followed by Penn with 35 and Columbia with five.
