NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- The Yale gymnastics team competed in its home opener against Brown on Sunday afternoon. The Bulldogs recorded a team score of 194.275, finishing just .025 points behind the Bears. The result was a season high for the Elis.

Notable Performances

• Ellie Kearns was fantastic on bars, recording a 9.875, which was the best score of the meet. It was also a career high for the sophomore.
• Ella Tashjian recorded the best score of the meet on vault, registering a 9.775.

Meet Notes

• Yale recorded a season-best team score, improving on last weekend's score by nearly half a point.
• Floor was once again the Bulldogs' best event. The team registered a score of 48.875.
• Tashjian, Gigi Sabatini, and Lauren Burt were the team's top performers on vault.
• The Bulldogs recorded the top three individual scores on bars. In addition to Kearns, Charlotte Zaun and Chloe DeJoy rounded out the top three.
