PRINCETON, N.J. -- Senior Hana Strause of the Yale gymnastics team and Mathias Reimer of the coed sailing team have earned Academic All-Ivy honors as part of the 2025-26 At-Large Team, which recognizes top student-athletes in non-Ivy League-sponsored sports. The league announced the awards on Wednesday.
Institutions nominated one student-athlete from each of their non-Ivy League-sponsored sports – archery, equestrian, sprint football, gymnastics, women's polo, men's polo, women's lightweight rowing, women's rugby, coed sailing, women's skiing, men's skiing, men's volleyball, women's water polo and men's water polo – to be included on the Academic All-Ivy At-Large Team. Student-athletes must be in good academic standing to be eligible for the award.
Strause, an economics major, was a five-time All-GEC performer for the Bulldogs. She was also a GEC Scholar-Athlete all four years.
Reimer, an Engineering Science-Mechanical major, is the 2026 coed sailing team captain. He is also a two-time national qualifier at the ICSA Singlehanded Championships.
