NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- For the fifth time, Annie Bilbe has been named Gymnastics East Conference Newcomer of the Week, as announced by the conference on Wednesday afternoon. Bilbe has won the award in five out of the 10 weeks this season.

Bilbe continued her impressive rookie season with a strong showing at the Pink Invitational against Rutgers, Penn, and West Chester. Bilbe posted a 9.750 on vault and added a 9.825 on floor to tie for third place. Her consistent performances have made her a key contributor in Yale's lineups throughout the season. 

The Bulldogs will compete at the University of Bridgeport in a tri-meet against the Purple Knights and Southern Connecticut State University on Sunday, March 15.
