Bulldogs Win Duplin Women's Team Race

MEDFORD, Mass. -- The Yale women's sailing team brought home another win this weekend, clinching the Duplin Women's Team Race hosted by Tufts. The Bulldogs are undefeated so far this Spring.

On Saturday, the wind shifted between the North-northwest and North-northeast throughout the day, ranging from 5-15 knots. A round robin of all 10 teams was completed on the first day. On Sunday, the wind was 8-12 knots and came out of the South. The top eight teams raced into a second round robin, in which Yale was undefeated. The team finished with a 13/3 record overall. Skippers Carly Kieding, Dorothy Mendelblatt, and Elle Sykes competed with crews Sarah Moeder, Julia Miller, Ella Benedetto, and Clara Diaz Suarez.

Next weekend, the Bulldogs will race in the Marchiando Team Race hosted by MIT and Harvard, and the Dellenbaugh Team Race at Brown.
