Peter Moynihan and captain
Patrick Pisano of the Yale men's lacrosse team earned additional All-American honors on Saturday, as both were named Honorable Mention All-Americans by Inside Lacrosse.
Moynihan received the honor for the first time in his career. He has also delivered in crucial situations, leading Yale with four game-winning goals. Among his biggest performances were a four-goal outing against No. 9 Cornell to lead the Bulldogs, and a dramatic late goal at Brown with 1:34 left that clinched Yale's spot in the Ivy League Tournament.
Pisano earned the status for the first time in his career after also receiving Inside Lacrosse Honorable Mention Midseason All-America recognition this season. The Cold Spring Harbor, New York, native collected All-Ivy honors for the third straight season and has been a key part of Yale's defense. The senior leads the Bulldogs with 20 caused turnovers and ranks third in the league with an average of 1.43 per game. He also tied a career high with four caused turnovers in Yale's upset win over No. 9 Cornell. Additionally, he was named Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week in early April.
