WEST HAVEN, Conn. -- The Bulldogs clinched their second straight Red Rolfe Division title on Saturday afternoon.

Yale split a doubleheader with Brown, and won game two, 10-2, to earn the division crown.  With the win, the Bulldogs improved to a league-best 14-4 conference record and a 25-16 overall mark.

Columbia swept Penn on Saturday to force a one-game playoff next week between the two teams.  The winner will travel to West Haven to take on Yale in a best-of-three series the following weekend.

Benny Wanger, Harrison White and Simon Whiteman all had three hits in game two, while Griffin Dey blasted his 10th homer of the season.  The Bulldogs busted the game open with a six-run sixth inning.

Eric Brodkowitz settled down to pitch into the seventh to earn the win.  After allowing a run in the first, Brodkowitz (4-2) tossed 5 1/3 scoreless innings.

Dey tied the game in second on a long home run to left field.  Later in the inning, DeGraw grounded out to score Andrew Herrera to give Yale a 2-1 lead.

Yale tacked on six in the sixth thanks to doubles from Whiteman, Wanger and White.  DeGraw started the scoring in the inning with a sac fly, and Alec Hoeschel capped the inning with a run-scoring single to score White.

White drove in two more in the eighth with a single.

Between the first and second game, Yale's six seniors were honored:  Derek Brown, Herrera, Hoeschel, Jackson McClain, Richard Slenker and White.

Brown won the first game 12-1.  The two teams will play another doubleheader tomorrow in Providence beginning at 1 p.m.
