Griffin Dey and Alex Stiegler delivered run-scoring singles in the top of the first and Benny Wanger, as part of a four-hit day, added a RBI-single in the third to give Yale a 3-1 lead.
The Aggies (7-1) came back with three in the third and three more in the fourth to take a 7-3 lead off of Yale starter Kumar Nambiar and never trailed again. Nambiar struck out six over 3 and 2/3 innings.
Simon Whiteman went 2 for 5 with two runs scored and a RBI as the Bulldogs fell to 1-3 on the season.
Wanger and Whiteman have started the season hot at the plate. Wanger is 7 for 13 (.538) with seven walks and a .700 on-base percentage, while Whiteman is 8 for 18 (.444) with five runs scored.
In addition, Dai Dai Otaka had a hit today and is 6 for 16 to start the season.
The Bulldogs travel to play a three-game series at New Orleans next weekend.
