The Bulldogs look to extend their win streak when they host Marist on Tuesday at George H.W. Bush '48 Field. Â First pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m.
Last time out, Yale (5-4) defeated Long Island University at home and Fordham on the road to complete a 2-0 week. The Bulldogs outslugged LIU 9-6 and defeated Fordham 11-2. Â
Jimmy Chatfield homered and drove in five runs, and four players had multi-hit games in the victory over LIU. Eight different Bulldogs drove in at least one run and
Mike Walsh allowed one run over six innings on Friday to lead Yale to the win at Fordham.
Mason LaPlante had a solid week and went 4 for 8 with five runs scored, while
Jimmy Chatfield went 3 for 9 with seven RBI and a homer.Â
Colton Shaw and
Ben Metzner both bring four-game hit streaks into the game.  Both Metzner (.359) and Shaw (.304) are hitting over .300. Â
On the mound,
Mick Kelley has been solid in relief. He has three straight scoreless appearances totaling 7 2/3 innings. Â
After Tuesday's game, the Bulldogs head back to the West Coast with three games at California Baptist University beginning this Friday.Â

The Red Foxes enter the contest with a 6-5 and fresh off a win at Navy. Â Marist's two top hitters are Gavin Noriega (.368) and Gene Napolitano (.359). As a team, the Red Foxes have a 6.85 ERA. Â Jack Bowery leads the team 0.90 ERA over 10 innings.
