The Yale baseball team is heading back to the West Coast this weekend looking to extend its winning streak.  Yale split a four-game series at Washington two weeks ago, and head back out west at California Baptist University for a three-game series beginning on Friday.

Yale extended its win streak to four with a 4-3 victory over Marist on Tuesday afternoon at George H.W. Bush '48 Field.  The Bulldogs scored three times in the seventh to take the lead.  

The bullpen took it from there. Reid Easterly tossed a scoreless sixth and seventh to earn his first win of the season.  Mick Kelley pitched the final two innings to earn the save.

Kelley lowered his ERA to 0.66 over 13.2 innings.  Easterly has a 2.53 ERA.  

Ben Metzner extended his hit streak to five games on Tuesday with a hit and a run scored.  He's hitting .333 over his first 21 at bats.

In the field, the Bulldogs continue to be solid. Yale did not commit an error on Tuesday and only have over the first 10 games.  

California Baptist University is the two-time defending Western Athletic Conference champs. The Lancers are 11-4 overall and are coming off a win over UNLV on Monday.CBU has six hitters batting over .300, led by Jake Skipworth hitting .455.
