NEW HAVEN, Conn. — The Yale baseball team will look to get back on track with a midweek game at UConn on Wednesday.Â

The game marks the final scheduled non-conference game of the season. First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m. in Storrs.

The Bulldogs dropped all three games at Columbia last weekend. Yale stands at 17-14 overall and holds a 10-6 in non-conference games this season.Â

Teddy Hague earned a spot on the Ivy League Weekly Honor Roll and continued his hot hitting at the plate. He went 4 for 11 with a walk and two RBI in the three game series against the Lions. For the season, Hague is 13 for 39 since returning to the lineup.Â

Jimmy Chatfield and
Ben Metzner continue to reach base at an impressive rate. Chatfield has reached base in all 31 of Yale's games this season, while Metzner has done so in 26 straight games.Â

AJ Gaich enters the game with a six-game hit streak, while
Alec Atkinson and
Carson Swank both have four-game streaks.Â

On the mound, the Bulldogs got support in relief out of
Mark Capell, who tossed two more scoreless in conference play. In Ivy games, Capell has pitched five and 2/3 scoreless innings in four appearances.

Up next, Yale will host Penn for a three-game series beginning on Friday.Â

The Huskies begin play this weekend ranked No. 15 in the nation. UConn went 4-1 last week and are tied for first in the Big East with an 8-1 mark. The game marks the first time the two teams have played since 2016.
