The Yale baseball team will look to extend its win streak this weekend with a three-game series at the University of San Francisco of the West Coast Conference. The series starts with a doubleheader on Saturday and ends with a single game on Sunday afternoon.
Here are some Yale notes heading into the weekend:

- Jimmy Chatfield, Colton Shaw and Davis Hanson earned spots on the Ivy League weekly honor roll.
- Chatfield went 6 for 12 in the series, reached base eight times, stole three bases and added three RBI. Chatfield enters the weekend leading the team with a .476 batting average, total bases (18), hits (10) and RBI (8).
- Shaw pitched into the eighth inning last Sunday to earn his first victory of the season. He retired 14 batters at one point.
- Hanson, a first-year student athlete, had three RBI in Yale's 7-4 victory last Sunday.
- Reid Easterly earned his second win (in two appearances) of the season last Saturday with a six-inning performance.
- Mark Capell struck out seven without issuing a walk over three innings in his first appearance of the season.
- Jeff Pierantoni had two more multi-hit games last weekend and now has four in Yale's first six games. He's second on the team with a .429 batting average.
- AJ Gaich has at least one hit in Yale's first six games and leads the team with three doubles. He's also tied for the team lead in runs scored (7) and walks (5).
