  • Full Results
  • The day started off with the mile final. Winslow Atkeson and Owen Karas both tightly contested this. The tactical race proved to be exciting for the spectators, with Atkeson and Karas both fighting well but unfortunately missing out on points.
  • In the 60 meters Kit Colson backed up his PR from Saturday with a time of 6.81 to place fourth. Over the 200m Jacob Kao just missed out on points and ran a time of 21.99.
  • The 800 meters was contested by Thomas Cirrito and Amaré Fields. Cirrito closed quickly to secure valuable points with his fifth-place finish. Over the 1k Braden King put in a solid performance to just miss out on points, placing seventh.
  • The 5k was contested by a large number of Bulldogs. Leading them home was Sean Kay, who placed seventh. Martin Riddell also had a noteworthy race to come home in 10th.
  • In the throws captain Matt Appel was back on form, placing third with a season's best distance of 18.13 meters in the shot put.
  • Also coming home in third was Brian Di Bassinga in the triple jump with a PR of 15.29 meters.
  • The distance medley relay is often one of the highlights of the day. The team of Leo Brewer, Cirrito, Karas and Andrew Farr raced hard to place fourth -- and earn four points -- in a time of 9:57.
  • Likewise in the 4x880y relay, the team of Brian Gamble, Calvin Katz, Tanish Chettiar and Austin Montini fought to a fourth-place finish, for four points, in a time of 7:38.
  • The day was rounded out with the 4x440y relay. The team of Kao, Aaron Miller, Colson and Simon Jupp secured a point for the Bulldogs with a sixth-place finish.
  • The 38 points scored was an increase from last year and represents the hard work and dedication the team has put in so far this year.
Up next:
  • The Bulldogs are right back in Massachusetts at the IC4A Championships, which take place Mar. 1-3 at the Boston University Track and Tennis Center. This is the last meet on the indoor schedule.
