NEW ORLEANS, La. -- Davis Hanson drove in his third run of the season in an 11-1 loss at Tulane in the first of a three-game series on Friday night.  Yale fell to 0-4 this season.

How it happened:

• Top 3 | Max Imhoff drew a lead-off walk and advanced to second on a sac bunt by Hayden Sobecki.  After advancing to third on a groundout, Imhoff score Hanson's single to center to give Yale the early 1-0 lead.
• Bottom 4 | Casey Rasmussen bases-loaded single scored a run, and Colin Tuft followed with a sac fly to get two runs off of Yale starter Daniel Cohen.   
• Bottom 6 | Marcus Cline cleared the bases with a three-run triple.  Gavin Shultz followed with a sac fly to score Cline. 
• Bottom 7 | Matthias Haas produced the third sac fly of the night for the Green Wave.
• Bottom 8 | Tulane scored four runs.

Game notes:

• Daniel Cohen (0-1) pitched into the sixth in his second start of the season and struck out four.  
• The Bulldogs drew eight walks in the game.
• Jake Williams reached base four times -- a hit and three walks -- and stole three bases. 
• Despite one run in the game, the Bulldogs had scoring chances and left 10 on base.
