Box Score NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale baseball team wrapped up its 2024 campaign on a high note, with a 6-4 triumph over Harvard at Bush Field. The win clinched a series victory over the Crimson after splitting a doubleheader yesterday.
The Bulldogs concluded the season with an overall record of 18-23 and an 11-10 Ivy League mark. Yale finished tied for third in the conference but missed out on postseason play because of tie-breaking procedures.
Prior to Sunday's contest, the Bulldogs celebrated its seven-person senior class for their contributions to the program over the past four years.

- Top 2nd | Harvard struck first on an RBI double by Jordan Kang. 1-0 HARVARD
- Top 4th | The Crimson doubled their lead on a two-bagger by Chris Snopek. 2-0 HARVARD
- Bottom 4th | After Jake Williams reached on a walk, he advanced to third on two throwing errors by Crimson players. Tommy Martin bunted him home for the hosts' first run of the game. 2-1 HARVARD.
- Bottom 5th | Yale took its first lead of the day with two runs in the fifth. First, Jeff Pierantoni doubled to right center which scored Chris DiPrima. Pierantoni later scored on a wild pitch to give the Bulldogs the lead. 3-2 YALE.
- Top 6th | Harvard tied it up on a solo shot by Sawyer Feller. 3-3 TIE
- Top 7th | The Crimson retook the lead with a two-out RBI single by William Lybrook. 4-3 HARVARD.
- Bottom 7th | Pierantoni drove in his second run of the game with a fielder's choice to the second baseman. Hayden Sobecki beat the throw home to tie up the game once again. Later in the inning, Alec Atkinson singled to right to score Pierantoni giving the Bulldogs an one-run advantage. 5-4 YALE.
- Bottom 8th | Yale added an insurance run on a sac bunt by Robert Ciulla. 6-4 YALE
Game Notes
- Sunday's contest was the 400th matchup between the Bulldogs and the Crimson.
- Senior captain Reid Easterly started the game on the mound for the Bulldogs, tossing 5.1 innings while allowing three runs. The senior concluded his stellar career with 10 wins, five saves, and 162 strikeouts.
- Tate Evans came on in relief, throwing 2.0 innings while allowing one unearned run. He earned his fourth victory of the season. Ethan Lewis followed Evans out of the pen, picking up his first collegiate save.
- Pierantoni hit his fifth double and drove in his 19th and 20th runs of the season.
Moving Forward
With the 2024 season in the rear view mirror, the Bulldogs will graduate seven seniors, but will return most of the starting lineup and pitching staff next season.
