  • In the 200 meters, junior Isiah Udofia looks to navigate this tough event on a flat track. Sophomore Andrew Fu and senior James Grindle race as well.
  • In the long sprints, sophomore Lucas Mylon races in the 400 meters and will be aiming to make the final. Joining him is classmate Finnegan Quinn, who has gone comfortably sub 50 seconds this year. Senior Simon Jupp will race in the 500 meters, and his time of 1:04 is sure to be competitive. Sophomore Antonio Bravo will also race in the 500 meters and hopes to set a new PR.
  • School record holder junior Nolan Recker is a force to be reckoned with in the weight throw. He has the second-best mark in the league this year. Joining him are classmate Jake Sun, who has consistently set solid marks this season, and sophomore Nathan Lebowitz. These athletes will also return for the shot put with the opportunity to score more points.
  • The jumps group is in fine form. Udofia scored points in the long jump last year and will be hoping to replicate that this year. Junior Brian Di Bassinga placed third in the triple jump last year and will be challenging for the win this time out. He is joined by first year Orion Browne, who has had a stunning debut season and will also be looking to score points. Junoir Elliot Wessel will compete in the high jump. He has shown great consistency this season and will be hoping to PR.
  • First year Max Bishop races in the 800m. His mark this season of 1:51 indicates he is capable of scoring points. He is joined by senior Calvin Katz.
  • Three Bulldogs compete in the 1k. Senior Winslow Atkeson drops down in distance and will be one to watch with his fast PR. Sophomore Caden Montini is fresh off a new mile PR and looks to use this strength to compete over the 1k. First year Matthew Schutzbank set a new 1k PR of 2:28 last time out and is sure to fight hard in his heat.
  • The mile is always a standout event with plenty of Ivy League athletes breaking 4 minutes this year. Senior Jack Sendek will rely on his closing kick in his quest to make the final. Sophomore Brian Gamble has been closing in on the sub 4 mark this season and will aim to score points. First year Seb Sutch also races the mile and is sure to gain valuable experience.
  • The Bulldogs are sending a strong 3k squad. Having broken multiple school records already this season, junior Owen Karas currently holds the fastest time in the league with 7:51 and is sure to contest for the win. Senior Leo Brewer scored points in this event last year and is hoping to improve upon last year's placing. First year Lucas Cohen will gain valuable experience from his first indoor Heps.
  • The 5k takes place on Sunday. Karas races and his PR of 13:53 makes him a strong contender. Senior captain Varun Oberai takes to the track as he looks to use his experience to finish well. Sophomore Daegan Cutter also races.
  • The relays are sure to be a highlight of the event. The Bulldogs will field teams in the 4x400 meters, 4x800 meters and the DMR. For many athletes this will be their second race of the day.
Up next:
  • Up next for those who qualify, the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships are held in Virginia Beach on Mar. 14-15.
  • Most Bulldogs will turn their attention to the outdoor season. The first outdoor meet on the schedule is the Black and Gold Invitational in Orlando, Fla., which is set to take place Mar. 21-22.
