NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale women's track and field team is ready for the 2026 outdoor season, which starts Friday at UCF's Black and Gold Challenge. The Bulldogs have 11 meets before the championship season starts with the Ivy League Heptagonal Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Princeton on May 16 and 17. The NCAA East First Round takes place in Kentucky May 28 and May 30. The NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships take place in Oregon on June 11 and 13. 
 
Here is a look at the Bulldogs, event by event:
 
Distance/Middle Distance

• The distance and middle distance group includes seniors Claire Archer, Ruby Barton, Marina Carlos, Anna Chamberlin, Linde Fonville, Cara Joyce, Miranda Lorsbach, Marisa Poe and Charlotte Whitehurst; juniors Hebe Chadwick, Priya Gangadharan and Daniella Henderson; sophomores Charo Heijnen, Lily Jin, Muriel Lovshin, Katie Marchand, Zoe Martonfi (also a jumper), Julie Piot and Sylvie Sanok Dufallo; and first-years Phoebe Benun, Zoe Carter, Sophie Polay and Adela Pela Svihalkova.
  • Whitehurst is sixth all-time at Yale in the 10K (34:54.96).
  • Archer is eighth all-time at Yale in the 5K (16:21.04).
  • Fonville is ninth all-time at Yale in the 1500m (4:24.05).
  • Martonfi is 10th all-time at Yale in the 3K steeplechase (10:40.08).

 
Sprints, 800m

• The sprints group includes juniors Gloria Guerrier, Victoria Guerrier, Juliette Kosmont and Sophie Spokes; sophomores Elaine Hudacsko and Anjali Yella; and first-year Corinne Isaacs.
  • Gloria Guerrier is third all-time at Yale in the 400m (54.19).
  • Victoria Guerrier is Yale's record holder in the 800m (2:03.07). She competed in that event at the NCAA East First Round last year. Fonville is ninth (2:08.26).
  • Kosmont is second on Yale's all-time list in the 100m  (11.80). She is .05 away from the record, set by Dominique Romain '25 last year.
  • Spokes is eighth all-time at Yale in the 100m (12.12).

 
Hurdles

• The hurdles group includes senior Casia Provencal; juniors Lucija Grd and Lola Isom; and sophomore Squirrel Lanz.
  • Grd is Yale's record holder in the 100mH (13.80).
  • Gloria Guerrier is third on Yale's all-time list in the 400mH (59.02).  She competed in that event at the NCAA East First Round last year.
  • Lanz is fourth on Yale's all-time list in the 100mH (14.50).
  • Provencal is seventh on Yale's all-time list in the 100mH (14.64).

 
Jumps

• The jumps group includes senior Caroline Glessing (also a sprinter); junior Alexandra Bonn, sophomore Kenzie McElroy (also a sprinter); and first-years Sofia Varma and Penelope Webb.
  • Bonn is sixth on Yale's all-time list in the triple jump (11.88m).

 
Pole Vault

• Yale's pole vaulters include first-years Shreya Sathiyan and Milla Signorelli.

 
Throws

• The throws groups includes seniors Makayla Harris and Charlie Williams; junior Emma Peretti; sophomores Hannah Graham and Anna Siciliano; and first-years Constanza Acevedo and Maya Quaranta.
  • Siciliano is fourth on Yale's all-time list in the shot put (14.00m). Emma Vasen set the school record in 2019 (14.72m).
  • Peretti is fifth on Yale's all-time list in the shot put (13.72m).
  • Williams is seventh on Yale's all-time list in the hammer throw (50.22m).
  • Harris is 10th on Yale's all-time list in the shot put (13.27m).
  • Peretti is third on Yale's all-time list in the shot put (13.92m).

 
Multi

• The multi group includes senior Makayla White, Yale's captain; sophomore Alyssa Anderson; and first-year Layni Kaase.
  • White is Yale's record holder in the heptathlon (1999-present) with a score of 4772.

 
Relays

• Multiple current Bulldogs have been part of significant relay performances.
  • Grd and Kosmont were part of Yale's No. 2 4x100m relay (45.85). Those two and White were part of Yale's No. 3 4x100m relay (46.05). Grd and Spokes were part of Yale's No. 4 4x100m relay (46.15).
  • The Guerrier twins were a part of the top two 4x400m relays in school history (3:40.36 and 3:40.56). Gloria Guerrier and Elaine Hudacsko were part of the No. 10 4x400m relay (3:45.97).
  • Chamberlain and Victoria Guerrier were part of Yale's school record 4x800m relay team (8:35.53). 
  • Fonville was part of the No. 5 4x800m relay (8:45.58).
  • Fonville and Sanok Dufallo were part of Yale's No. 9 4x800m relay (8:47.61).
