NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Three members of the Yale women's track and field team were honored by the Ivy League on Tuesday as the league announced its annual awards.
Junior
Lucija Grd (Zagreb, Croatia) was named first team All-Ivy League on the heels of her first-place finish in the 60m hurdles at the Ivy League Heptagonal Indoor Track and Field Championships this past weekend in New York. Grd's time of 8.29 in the final tied her own school record. She is the first women's 60m hurdles champion in school history.
Grd is a graduate of Vladimir Prelog Science School. She has competed in the World U20 Championships and the European U20 Championships.
Junior
Juliette Kosmont (Monterey, Calif.) was named second team All-Ivy League after placing second in the 60m at Heps. Kosmont broke her own record in the prelims on Saturday with a time of 7.30. She then ran a 7.40 on Sunday, finishing behind only Penn's Fore Abinusawa (7.25). Kosmont now ranks third all-time in the 60m at indoor Heps, trailing only Abinusawa (7.22 in 2026) and Harvard's Gabrielle Thomas (7.25 in 2018).
Kosmont is a graduate of Santa Catalina High, where she was a two-time state meet qualifier and was a league champion in three different events.
Senior
Claire Archer (Seattle, Wash.) was named Academic All-Ivy League. Archer, an economics major, ranks No. 6 all-time at Yale in the 5000m indoors (16:19.99). She was also named Academic All-Ivy League for this past cross country season.
Archer is a graduate of Roosevelt High School, where she was All-State and placed sixth in the 3200m at the Washington 3A State Championships.
