Kieding Wins NEISA Rookie of the Year; Six Earn All-Conference Honors

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The New England Intercollegiate Sailing Association (NEISA) has announced year-end awards for the open and women's sailing division and six members of the Yale sailing teams have received honors. First year Carly Kieding was recognized as NEISA Women's Rookie of the Year.

Kieding is the fourth Bulldogs in a row to earn Rookie of the Year honors, following teammates Dorothy Mendelblatt (2025), Ashley Highland (2024) and Sarah Moeder (2023).

Yale also had 12 members of the coed and women's squad earn All-NEISA first or second team honors: The Bulldogs will conclude the 2026 season at ICSA Fleet Race Nationals beginning on May 15.
