NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale women's track and field team is ready for the 2026-27 season, which starts this weekend with the Bulldogs competing at three separate meets. The season culminates with the Ivy League Heptagonal Indoor Track and Field Championships at the Armory Track and Field Center in New York on Feb. 28 and Mar. 1 and the NCAA Track and Field Championships at Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville, Ark., Mar. 13-14. 
 
Here is a look at the Bulldogs, event by event:
 
Distance/Middle Distance

• The distance and middle distance group includes seniors Claire Archer, Ruby Barton, Marina Carlos, Anna Chamberlin, Carmel Fitzgibbon, Linde Fonville, Cara Joyce, Miranda Lorsbach, Marisa Poe and Charlotte Whitehurst; juniors Hebe Chadwick, Priya Gangadharan, Daniella Henderson and Kalista Villatoro; sophomores Charo Heijnen, Lily Jin, Muriel Lovshin, Katie Marchand, Zoe Martonfi (also a jumper), Julie Piot and Sylvie Sanok Dufallo; and first-years Phoebe Benun, Zoe Carter, Sophie Polay and Adela Pela Svihalkova.
  • Fitzgibbon is fourth all-time at Yale in the 800m (2:06.58) and sixth all-time in the 500m (1:14.80).
  • Fonville is fifth all-time at Yale in the 1000m (2:48.09).

 
Sprints

• The sprints group includes juniors Gloria Guerrier, Victoria Guerrier, Juliette Kosmont and Sophie Spokes; sophomores Elaine Hudacsko and Anjali Yella; and first-year Corinne Isaacs.
  • Gloria Guerrier is second all-time at Yale in the 500m (1:12.21) and fourth all-time at Yale in the 400m (55.22).
  • Victoria Guerrier is Yale's record holder in the 500m (1:11.44) and the 800m (2:03.69) and is second all-time in the 400m (54.86).
  • Kosmont is Yale's record holder in the 60m (7.43).
  • Spokes is tied for 10th all-time at Yale in the 200m (25.30).

 
Hurdles

• The hurdles group includes senior Casia Provencal; juniors Lucija Grd and Lola Isom; and sophomore Squirrel Lanz.
  • Grd is Yale's record holder in the 60mH (8.43) and is 10th on Yale's all-time list in the 60m (7.76).
  • Lanz is fourth on Yale's all-time list in the 60mH (8.80).
  • Provencal is sixth on Yale's all-time list in the 60mH (8.97).

 
Jumps

• The jumps group includes senior Caroline Glessing (also a sprinter); junior Alexandra Bonn, sophomore Kenzie McElroy (also a sprinter); and first-years Sofia Varma and Penelope Webb.
  • Bonn is ninth on Yale's all-time list in the triple jump (11.73m).

 
Pole Vault

• Yale's pole vaulters include first-years Shreya Sathiyan and Milla Signorelli.

 
Throws

• The throws groups includes seniors Makayla Harris and Charlie Williams; junior Emma Peretti; sophomores Hannah Graham and Anna Siciliano; and first-years Constanza Acevedo and Maya Quaranta.
  • Harris is second on Yale's all-time list in the weight throw (18.28m).
  • Peretti is third on Yale's all-time list in the shot put (13.92m).

 
Multi

• The multi group includes senior Makayla White, Yale's captain; sophomore Alyssa Anderson; and first-year Layni Kaase.
  • White is 10th on Yale's all-time list in the pentathlon (3346). She is ninth on Yale's all-time list in the 60m (7.73).

 
Relays

• Multiple current Bulldogs have been part of significant relay performances.
  • Gloria Guerrier and Victoria Guerrier were part of the school record-setting 4x400m team (3:40.00) and multiple other relay teams that rank in Yale's top 10. The No. 10 performance (3:48.56) also included Spokes.
  • Chamberlin, Martonfi, Sanok Dufallo and Villatoro were part of a 4x800m relay team that ranks fifth on Yale's all-time list (8:50.59).
  • Fitzgibbon and Fonville were part of a distance medley relay team that ranks sixth on Yale's all-time list (11:30.07). 
  • Fonville was part of a 4x800m relay team that ranks ninth on Yale's all-time list (8:53.96).
