George H.W. Bush Lifetime of Leadership Award
Anne F. Keating excels as a senior-level executive recruiter in the financial services and consumer sectors. A three-sport athlete, and captain of field hockey, Keating earned nine varsity letters in field hockey, basketball, and lacrosse, and was later a member of both the U.S. Olympic field hockey training squad and the U.S. Lacrosse team. Keating was the first recipient of the Nellie P. Elliot Award, given to the top Yale senior female athlete. In 1999, she was named to the Ivy League Field Hockey Silver Anniversary Honor Role.
After serving as assistant director of undergraduate admissions and director of transfer admissions at Yale, Keating earned an M.B.A. in marketing from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. She held various commercial banking positions working with Fortune-ranked corporations at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. before becoming an executive recruiter in 1986. She is now managing director and senior client partner in the New York office of Korn/Ferry International.Â
Continuing her support of women’s athletics, Keating is a founding member of Yale’s WISER (Women’s Intercollegiate Sports Endowment and Resource) Endowment, and serves on the board of the U.S. Lacrosse Foundation. She is a trustee of Helen Keller International.
